- Sport and Citizenship is withdrawing from the Global Sport Industry Summit
A year ago, the organizers of this event came to us and proposed us to build a round table on sport values. Since then, we appeared, alongside other major companies, as partner on their website.
Nethertheless, due to communication trouble with the organisers and some suspicion of dodgy event, we have decided to withdraw from this project, such as some other companies.
We invite you to be really careful if you were thinking of attending this event.
"Sport virtues are celebrated everywhere... Yet its image is sometimes hazy because of some professionalism excess. It´s of vital importance to fight against those ills. But most of all we must illustrate the crucial contribution of sport regarding education for all, fraternity and thus the will of living together. That´s the reason why I do think that Sport et Citoyenneté deserve our support".
Edgar Pisani
"In politics we should go and have a drink together after a match, as we do in sport. In fact we do not deal carefully with each other neither on the pitch nor in the box. Successful wishes for Sport et Citoyenneté."
Michel Platini
"Football is a game before being a product, a sport before being a market, a show before being a business."
Nawal El Moutawakel
"Sport and Citizenship is fighting for development and citizenship trough and thanks to sport especially for young people. It is a global initiative that has to be welcomed and promoted in other countries!"
